does your TA hit your floor board? (9")
I have a DLS 9" rear and the rear is fine but from what I can gather the rear sits higher then the stock 10 bolt therefore putting my TA that much closer to the floor board. I have a UMI adjustable TA that will hit my floor board on decent bumps. What can I do to prevent this?

Im on the only one...maybe getting some better rear springs would help? I have Ebaich pro kit spings right now. Also, from finally getting a chance to look under there the torque arm is actually hitting a bolt I have drilled into the driveshaft hump that holds my nitrous bracket. Im gonna just chop that bolt off but the torque arm still seems to be moving up to much. I also set the drive shaft angle to the T so that shouldnt be in the equation...hmm, Im lost

its called the BFH mod, just beat the floor in a little, it dont hit on the upper part, its hitting on the side of the shaft tunnel, I beat mine in and it dont hit anymore.

unfortunately for you guys with the stock mounted type t/a's the clearance issues are gonna be there. the bfh is the only option... the 9 inch cannot physically put the torque arm in the same location as stock. it has to move it forward and to the drivers side to clear the pinion support area. thats why the adapter bracket type 9 inch rears have t/a clearance problems. just the way it is. my housing mounted t/a fabricated rearends don't have these problems.

Normally we can use a pry bar to move the sheetmetal enough to get it to clear. We use the BMR trak pak and the BMR Xtreme torque arms quite often with the Moser 9 inch, and it doesn't take much to get them to clear. Bob
