Default Venting Crank Case

I currently just vent both valve covers to a catch can, but since I have the motor out I was wonder if adding an LS6 valley would be worth it to help vent more? I have a T76/81AR and am going to try and get as much boost as I can.

your vent system should work, but you should have some vacume sucking in the catch can. I hooked my catch can up to the inlet on the turbo so it creates vacume.

Can you swap that .81 for a .96?

mike do you really think he needs to swap to the .96 since his is a rearmounted sts? He might have the correct ar?? I just know the rearmounts have a hard time spooling so they are run lower ar's than front mounts.

Didn't realize it was a rearmount. Backpressure will be high either way then.

Edit: Yikes! A 408 with a T-76 rearmount .81 A/R. Backpressure will be through the roof!

A LS6 valley won't hurt.

I'm running total seal rings, it has pretty much eliminated any pressurization of the crank case I was getting.
