Default Direct replacement speakers

So yea we know the factory speakers are no good, as soon as I turn any music up and there is bass they rattle. What are good direct replacements? Pioneer? I will get a HU down the road and thats about it. I don't really care for an amp or subs as I just want a good set of speakers to rock out to every now and then.

Post up your experiences!

Oh, let's see...up to about $300/pair for the sail panel subs and maybe $150-$200 for the doors. Of course, there are several less expensive alternatives.

I recommend the Rainbow Reference CS260.30 for the fronts.

No amps in your future, just check out the stickys and go with the reasonably priced Alpine or Infinity options, or any of 20 other bi-wireable coaxials out there. It's mostly important that you wire them correctly (understand how the stock wiring and amps work) and maybe toss in a little felt and dynamat to calm down rattles.

Imho there is just no reason to spend more than $100 (if even that) on a pair of speakers if they will never be paired to an amp.
