Default Single breather?

I just noticed my single valve cover breather isn't doing the job! It's the second time out after cleaning it and it's dripping oil out. I'm sure I'm building up a little too much crankcase pressure. Has anyone tried two large breathers, one on each side?

Mine is vented one on each side. With only one side vented the gravity drain was backing up and causing oiling issues. We had to vent both sides to atmosphere.

The main issue with stock covers and billet breather is lack of baffles. The stock fill has no issue being it is capped.

The high rpm causes oil to spray up and then saturate the filter which then causing dripping and annoying oil smoke. This would be even worse in a boosted application like yours Andy.

The best option is remove the cover and weld in a small baffle under the fill hole. We have used two pass side valve covers on cars here in the past and had no issue.

Haider, two per on both sides or two on one side?

Larry, I hear you on the baffles. With the stock valve covers there's not much room under there! I need different valve covers, taller.

yes..stock covers woud be super tight. We have done the mod on our polsihed covers before.

The other option is a catch can/breather with AN line. We have this on the shop car and my 89 Coupe as well.

I am running two larger Metco breathers. I modified my drivers side valve cover to accept the big metco breather that normally fits the passenger size.

I have a breather on my passenger side of course but i also run the AMW catch can. on occasion I'll still get a bit of oil drop from the breather onto the header when i'm out beating on it under boost but it happens rarely enough that i don't really care.
