That's a loaded question. No one is "the best tranny builder." Everyone puts out a bad unit every now and then. What's your classification of "best tranny builder?" What tranny? 4L60E, TH350, TH400, 4L80E, 700R4, etc...Strongest 4L60E overall? Best 4L60E for the money?

Figure out exactly what you're shooting for here. How much horsepower do you plan on pushing to the rear wheels? What RPM do you think you'll be spinning the engine to? Are you going NA, FI or N2O? How heavy will the vehicle be?

Again, no one can tell you who builds the best tranny because no one knows who builds the best tranny. You need to figure out who can deliver the best experience for YOU, and you need to provide details about what you plan on doing.

Well said , was gonna say all of us. Each offers different things and I dont think you could say which is better or not, Any opinion would be biased.
If your looking for sheer numbers well FLT has been around the longest so I would say If all there ccustomers spoke up they would win, Wouldnt answer the question other than who sold the most units since they have been on this forum. Same with ACE they havent been here as long as a sponsor so they would score lower on that count, But I dont think that again would answer the question. Personally I would answer all the sponsors here on the forum are quite probably among some of the best in the industry. I dont think you could go wrong with any of us, IMO

Based on reps., I'm going to say Trent with Specialty Transmission in Duncanville, Texas; PerformaBuilt; and FLT. Cannot go wrong here.

I am the best builder Just kidding around in my own opinion of myself I am though but everyone who is a builder and is proud of there product will tell you that they are the best. As said you couldnt go wrong with any of the sponsors on this site ACE and FLT are great shops and have a good reputation oh and so do we just do your research there really is no best builder we all have different ways of doing things but however the guy that tells you he will build you a race tranny for $250 is not the best builder
