So searched for the answer but dident find anything, well hear we go, I was test driving a 97 Trans Am and when i put it in drive or revers i would hear a rattling, sounded loud. I really don't know what this is but im thinking something is lose or tranny mount missing, i dident bother to check i should have now that i think of it. Well i really want to buy this car but not to sure.Thanks

It is possible that the treansmissiosn mount is bad. But it could easily be the flexplate that is cracked.

My converter bolts were loose...caused a vibration, rattley sound and trans acted very wierd... goodluck!
