Default th350 problems

ok i took off the tranny off my s10 and had it rebuilt and they guy said the torque converter was crooked. and thats y it was leaking from the input shaft seal and he also said that the t/c rarely ever bend on there own and he suggested we check the motor for any hard vibration. and we did and it dont seam to be vibrating so what can be it i got a new t/c and tranny i dont want them to get ruined...

There are several reasons for a converter hub to bend... but ususally they are all obvious. Check the flexplate for cracks.. check the crankshaft thrust bearing for excessive wear by using a prybar to slide the crank back and forth in the block.

I would think tha if you have a new converter and transmission that you would be fine. If everything with the engine looks good then bolt the tranny up, run it and watch the converter to see if it "wobbles".
