Default Back motor plate for LS1

Just wondering how you would connect a trans to a LS1 using the motor plate that goes behing the enigne on some high horspower engines. Due to the 1/2 clearance caused by the motor plate

That's called a midplate and they are not 1/2 thick. Contact thunderracing.com, I know madman makes one.

The plates are 1/8 inch thick and you will just need to tell your convertor guy that thickness.

do you run engine travel limiters with your motor/midplate set ups?

I know some guys run a rod from the frame to the stock motor mount location or a close by bolt hole to limit forward/rearward movement.

Yes we run limiters to stop the fore aft movement.
