Default james bond idea?

ok so i was thinking that it would be possible to get some spd glass which tints by useing a 12v source and have it cut and drilled for to fit over your licence plate. so you flip the switch and no more plate. $250 for the glass and hardware to be custom made. worth the money for no?

i cant link non site supporters, but if you just search google for licencse plate hiders or plate hider or something like that, there are several companys that make them. Its basically just an LCD plate that goes in front that is clear till it sees voltage then it chnges either white or black depending on the type they use

Only point I could see in this is while at the track. That way, no insurance "snoopers" could ID your car. Although, I have a $1 screwdriver that does the same thing.

That would sure help people around the SF Bay....it costs bank just to get over the bridge:

Golden Gate - $5 into SF
Bay Bridge - $4

all other bridges $4

But just imagine if somebody accidentally hits your plate while they are parking.

lol, this reminds me of an old thread where someone said they had oil sprayers, smoke screens, and even spiked ninja ***** that deploy at the flick of a switch.

hey it was just an idea. the plate is far back in the bumper so they would hit the bumper first. i think the plate would be ok. i'm in the bay area too so it could pay it self off soon on the tolls.
