Eastern Members - Well, my luck finally ran out

I was on my way to meet a friend for coffee tonight around 11 pm when my night went from sucky to worse. There was a guy on my ass for 2 miles and wouldn't pass me. I was already doing 60 in a 50. For whatever reason at a red light with a merge lane from 3 into 2 lanes, he decides to get into the merge lane to get infront of me. Well instead of letting him go I decided to get on it a little and stay infront of him. For those of you who know my car.....it's got true duals and dumps so it's freaking LOUD. Apparently there was a cop sitting in a parking lot close to the light and caught up to me a few miles up the road. He pulled me over oddly enough at the same wawa I was meeting my friend at. He came up to the window PISSED. I was polite as always and I know I messed up. He was prior military so he said that instead of giving me a reckless driving he was going to drop it down to a careless. He gave me the "people are going to pull up to lights around here and challenge you speech." I agreed and said I know it was really stupid of me.

My first moving violation in 5 years. I guess I was about due.

Shitty. I got a wreckless driving ticket like 7 years ago, it sucked. You're pretty lucky.

had the same thing happen to me. cutout open and lt's, ory and ms3 is pretty damn obnoxious. i took off from a light and got pulled over, was polite and got a careless driving ticket.

went to court, waited outside for the cop to show and nicely asked him if he could drop it to a non-points violation and i'd plead guilty. he said sure (guess he was in a good mood that day) and i got out of it with no points.

definetly take it to court, try and talk to the cop beforehand.

Perfect example of why my cars are staying quiet from now on. Who needs the attention? I took the Corvette to NYC today to visit some friends and the loud exhaust all the way across Route 78 gave me such a fucking headache.:bang: I'm putting a Z06 titanium cat back on it ASAP. My head hurts, I'm going to the bar.

It's 3 in PA. My insurance agent told me that it doesn't look too good on your driving record either. I got one this past summer.

I would deff take it to court and ask the cop nicely to cut you a break. be honest and tell him you made a mistake, will pay the fine, but can't afford the points on your record. worst he can do is say no but more then likely he'll say yes and you'll just get away with a fine and no points.

A while ago I got pulled over on 309 doing 94 in a 55. I was actually doing over 100 but was able to slam on the brakes before the cop got me on radar, he knew it too because he told me that could tell I was decelerating. Anyway, I took it to court and the cop dropped it down to just 4 miles over the limit, I only had to pay a $200.00 fine with ZERO points. :D

Id take even a 350$ fine over anything on my license ANY day of the week..

my luck almost ran out the other night. i got excesice noise from tires 50 bucks haha i was realy doing a rolling burn out sidways through a set of lights prob 80 feet and speeding lookiing back at a shit lod of smoke a few head lights and and then some blue flashing ones .. so for 50 bucks i guess i got let off a lil. he yelled at me some no speack like i thought. i made it to 24 years old not bad for being a idiot. time and place ran out this time

Yeah they usually sit on the on-ramp just past Perkasie going both ways. I haven't seen one at the bottom of the hill in a few years.

this was going back about 8-10 years or so... I was in a 4 cylinder mustang :lol: Lucky for me it wasn't anything faster or who knows what would have happened. Needless to say I don't mess around on 309 anymore ;)

Oh trust me, I have an IL license. I doubt it will carry over. Every ticket I get here hasn't gone on my record in IL :)

you ever in the telford/souderton area? I remember seeing a Z06 with CCW's a while back dont recall the color tho.
