Default Red gear oil

Anyone using this?

All the gear oil I have used over the years was dark brown in color. I bought some this weekend in a gallon container that was red - 80-90W. The label says it is OK for all posi rears.

Anyway, the stuff smells like the brown stuff so i guess it is OK. I assume the red stuff has some additives.

I added the standard posi additive in the plastic pouch.

Is there a brand name? I imagine, since they make purple oil, GM transfer case fluid is blue (I think), they could make red gear oil. I dunno why, someone whos less knowledgeable may confuse it for ATF.
