Default Ls2 flywheel a must?

Is the Ls2 flywheel a must on an ls7 clutch?
My flywheel is only about 3000mi old and is still like new. but I need a clutch B/c my pressure plate got beat up(long story)

Yes it is, it WILL NOT work with a LS1 flywheel.

FYI: the LS2 and LS7 flywheels are the same

What about GTO LS2 and Vette LS2 flywheel?

I'm going to beat this to death until I get the right answer

From what I have read they both have the same part number. Maybe Matt @ SDPC can give you a solid answer

ehh 399@ SDPC is a steal for clutch, PP, and flywheel, so I guess I'll order it. Is there anywhere else with better price?

BYUNSPEED might have it for cheaper. I am not sure if SDPC has free shipping or not.

The LS2 flywheel out of a GTO and LS2 flywheel out of a Vette are the same.
