Davis said that the current plan is for new Force Mustang driver Mike Neff to use the Ford BOSS 500 engine full-time in 2008 as it goes through its development phase. The other Force Mustang drivers – John Force, Ashley Force and Robert Hight – will use the engine after it has been further developed

I'm glad to see someone re-invent the wheel, it's been a long time coming !

JFR racing is at the fore-front of new design idea's in several area's of the Fuel racing world. I see only good things coming from their vision in Fuel racings future.

I guess I don't see it that way. Force makes his own CNC'd engines out of billet alum. If design changes need to be made, why not just make them to the engine program he has. The fuel engines don't need to make more power either, hell the NHRA has been contemplating rule changes for a while now to slow those cars down....just like the Nascar restrictor plate deal.

Ford just wants their name on the engines in some fuel cars, which I personally think is a waste. Plus being a Ford, they'll probably blow up on startup. Maybe that's a safety feature so the JFR cars will stop crashing. LOL.
