Hey stupid question here but I was told a long time ago the only differences b/w a b4c and a "regular" car is larger injectors, larger throttle body, and better suspension... Is this true?

post up some pix. t-56: all the b4c's that i have seen have ls1's in them. they can come with a six speed, but it isn't very common. also, i think that they have automatic transmission coolers. jimmyjank- tell us some more about it, miles, color, price (if you don't mind that is) i REALLY want a b4c, idk why, i just do. congrats, and like i said, post up some pix of the new ride!

Not a stupid question. In 2002, the B4C was equipped exactly like a similarily optioned Z-28, with the exception it had lower control arms from the original 1LE package.
Basically, it's a Z with a body colored top and no Z badges. You could get it with any option available with the hardtop Z (except maybe GSC tires).
How do I know? I had both and compared build sheets. Plus Scott Settlemire confirmed it.
Great car.

Well based on those specs ^^^^^^^ the only real difference is the suspension.. right? It didn't mention anything about intake or injectors.. anyone have more info?

Anyone have pics of the engine bay?

Thanks for the welcome....

it's a 2002 b4c
it has a alot of miles but i set aside a budget for what ever it needs.
119,000 miles ...it has ls6 intake and thats about all I know now.
it does have a noisy rear end....carrier bearing?

as said bought it with the intention of bringing it up to snuff and then some.

very clean interior..some scratches exterior...not too bad

for me it's all about the motor and what i'm going to do to it.

paid $ 6,250.00

Yes. Reread my post above. Same intake (all 2001 and 2002 V8 Camaros got the LS6 intake), even the same suspension except for the 1LE LCAs. Same injectors. Same alternator. Same brakes. Same programming from the factory. One thing the spec sheet didn't mention was that the B4C was available with the M6 transmission.
None got the LS6 engine. Some 2002 (I think 2001 also) LS1 engines in Camaros used the LS6 cast blocks. They weren't LS6s though.

Great buy! Looks very clean. Enjoy it and welcome to the world of the LS1! A few mods and you'll be hooked like the rest of us, if you aren't already!

Congrats on your new ride! I think I saw that car advertised somewhere like Autotrader or Ebay. Enjoy it. We liked the sleeper aspect of our '00 B4C.

Here's a thread for those who insist on speculating about LS1 B4C's.

The only year that came with the ls6 blocks were the 2000's. then in 2001 and 2002 they used the ls1 block with the ls6 intake.
