Default What happened to your trap?

I'm just curious. For those of you who made runs before and after the converter install, with no other changes, what did your trap do? You should tell what converter you put in, and if you put tires on it too (and what kind).

Mine stayed the same and I dropped about 4 tenths, but that was with no tune, so I was bouncing off the rev-limiter on every shift and i'm shure the 'ole TM was kicking in also.

I didn't vote since I did headers at the same time, however I gained 4 mph and I don't think all of that was the headers. Stall is a Yank 3600 and it was on street tires.

Went from a 13.2 @ 106 with a 2.0 60' (dayton daytonas) to 12.2 @ 111 with a 1.7 60' with nitto drs. So a full second and a 5mph increase (winter) 108 to 109 was about regular mph.

I would credit all 4mph to the headers cause thats exactly what i gained from the headers alone.

It's possible. I went from 13.4's @ 104 to 12.8 @ 108 w/ headers AND a stall. Both on 2.0X 60'. Looking at it, it kinda looks like minimal gains for those mods combined so I'll have to see what it'll do with tires.

So it seems like the general consensus that you won't really lose any mph with it... haha. I'm trying to decide whether or not to go to the track this weekend with the same old stock F1s still......

No, you shouldn't lose any with the Yank. I would go...You may not have many more chances at the track this year

I went from 8.68 @ 87mph to 7.82 @ 89mph in the 1/8th with the addition of SS3800 and 3.73's (from 2.73)
