I drive mine to and from. I have trailered it in the past when I was more than 1 hour away only due to possible breakage and being a PITA to get towed home from that far. Now I have AAA and as long as the track is within 100 miles I am good to go.

I have kept mine able to be street driven, but I have always trailered it to the track. I have probley put maybe 250 street miles on it. Last time I had it out I drove it about 90 miles. It got 18mpg.

Mine is mainly a street car & if I go to the track it's driven there & home.

I'm building it for that purpose. I really like what I consider "real" street cars better. Like full interior & driven to & from the track. Just something about being able to drive it there & home thats very pleasing to me.

My track is an hour away and always worried about breaking something and being stuck. Nothing has ever broke yet but with my luck!

The local quarter mile is a pretty decent hike from here - I trailer the car to save the tow bill should something break.

Our local eigth mile is within eyeshot of our shop. I do drive the car there.

I drive mine to the closest track (1.5 hours). Ran 10.45 @ 133 on DRs. Car gets awesome gas mileage, too. Over 21 mpg on the highway. I did rent a trailer for the 3.5 hours each way trip I took in the Spring.

I don't have a truck or trailer, breaking at the track sucks, since it is 2 hours to the closest 1/4 mile track.

Driving it to Kansas City in the morning to race it (Right @ 200 miles, each way)...

trailer all the time, but it's not really much of a street car anymore. But.... I'd rather have it that way, then drive around and take a chance of someone hitting it, the po-po harrassing me, etc.etc.

The track is only about 7 miles away. I have been driving it there on the slicks mostly becuase I dont have my own trailer or truck and would have to borrow my brothers. I wish I didnt have to becuase I think its hard on my slicks.

I would end up with mental issues if I lived too close to the track!

Until last year I always drove the 100 miles or to the track and hoped I did not break.

I CAN tell you the tow bill from the track is $228! One of the reasons I trailer it now
