REMOVING ASHTRAY AND ADDING SWITCHES
will you guys post pictureS of taking out your ashtray and adding switches there? You can post them of switches inside the ashtray as well, i am looking to do this in the future.
Also if you have switches anywhere in your car, post those pics too, i am anxious to see...

Re: REMOVING ASHTRAY AND ADDING SWITCHES
I put my line lock switch in the ashtray, just popped it out and drilled a hole. Unfortunately as I was drilling, the bit caught the ashtray that was in the vise wrong and shattered it. Ooops. I glued it back together and it works fine to hold the switch, but someday I'll get a new one. I have thought of getting a tcs switch and panel and using it (since I don't have traction control)

Re: REMOVING ASHTRAY AND ADDING SWITCHES
i shaved my center console so i can't put any in the ashtray but i also removed the front cubby hole in the anticipation of someday having nitrous or something. for my neon switches i made a black plastic piece right in front of the center console. you can kinda see one on the pass side picture.

lol this is one of the oldest ressurected threads Ive seen in a while.
As far as those switches, its not that hard to make, all those LEDs and switches used to make it can be gotten from Radio Shack.
