I went to my local 1/8 track and went a 7.99 but only at 80mph because I have yet to get my car tuned and it would not shift on the 2-3 shift! all I have done is a Yank 4200 stall, tranny cooler(not performance but goes along with it) long tube headers, true dual's,and a lid and thats it! oh and I DD my car!

no problem, I have been a mustang(blue blood) for most of my life (15 years of racing stangs) until this year and this was quite a switch to the LS1 but I am happy with the car and it's potential for now! I'm learning as I go but am fortunate to have some good knowledgeable LS1 guru's around me to help in my decision's! I would have never bought anything higher then a 3200 stall but was told that the LS1's would need a 4000 stall to work best!
