could someone tell me what the best way to connect -6 braided hose to this fuel pump's hard nipple is? i believe the nipple is either 3/8 or 5/16...i'm not sure which.

i found these from fragola and it looks like these would work:

but i was hoping someone who has done this before could give me a yay or nay, or suggest the best way to go, before i proceed. thanks for any help/advice

just slide it on and clamp it like a regular fuel line. Thats all that fragola fitting is, a glorified clamp.

Use fuel injection hose clamps. The worm gear style is not made for fuel lines, they cut into the hose and the fuel injection clamps spread the load better and they do not damage the hose.
