Default Those with tranny blankets and long tubes..

Has anybody ever had the issue of the blanket getting near the header and the header melting some of the blanket? Is there a anything I can do to stop this? Any non flammable materials that I can put between the two? Unfortunately there is no SFI bellhousing for my tranny or else I'd get it. Thanks. -Mark

You could wrap the header if you have enough clearance. DEI and Thermo Tec make products like this. Look in Jegs or Summit. I had to wrap my starter because it was getting heat soaked.
