Those with tranny blankets and long tubes.. Has anybody ever had the issue of the blanket getting near the header and the header melting some of the blanket? Is there a anything I can do to stop this? Any non flammable materials that I can put between the two? Unfortunately there is no SFI bellhousing for my tranny or else I'd get it. Thanks. -Mark

You could wrap the header if you have enough clearance. DEI and Thermo Tec make products like this. Look in Jegs or Summit. I had to wrap my starter because it was getting heat soaked.
