Default Textralia Exo-Skel Installation Questions

I will be installing this clutch in a few days. I am curious about torque specs and sequence for the pressure plate.

I would also like opinions on how you guys like this exo-skel in your cars.

I used the stock GM torque specs, something like 65 and 72 foot pounds. Star pattern like on a rim to tighten.

I love this clutch im my car so far, grabs like crazy and has good street manners. Pedal is perhaps 15% stiffer than my z06 clutch was, but no so hard i get a tired leg in bumper to bumper traffic

There should be a little booklet that comes with the clutch that has all the specs and sequenses. This was in my OZ700 clutch when I bought it brand new. Just make sure you use some red loctite.

seems like that is what i torqued mine to as well. really great clutch and will handle huge power. but the discs making that racket is annoying as hell when setting at a light with the pedal pressed in, i usually just throw mine up in neutral untill it's time to take off, haha.

I cant add much to what the others said. I would also check your engagement distance by measuring the slave and the fingers. I had some issues with this and my exo welded its self together. Textralia took good care of me but I did learn a lesson. I also installed a remote bleed line and a braided hard feed line.

This noise is not a big deal at all if you have any kind of exhaust mods.
And if you have a 408 you shouldn't hear it at all.

I have a 408 with exhaust mods and I can hear it. no worries though this clutch just works. I had a ram street dual and it took a crap at 6k mi. this clutch is softer on the pedal and grabs a whole lot more and is well mannered in traffic
