what are yall using for one, stock? aftermarket? 2 bar 3 bar? whats the differance?

The 1 bar map sensor can read from about 14.7psi vacuum (or negative pressure) to atmospheric pressure (0 psi). A 2 bar map sensor can read from 14.7psi vacuum to 14.7psi positive pressure (one bar vacuum, one bar pressure greater than atmospheric). In the same respect, a 3 bar map sensor reads from 14.7psi vacuum to 29.4psi positive pressure (one bar vacuum, two bar of boost pressure).

so are yall guys using 3 bar maps to help with tuning? and/or boost referanced fpr's?

sorry for al the questions but also is there a direct replacement for the ls1/6 intake or are yall screwing in a barb and a hose?

98s 2bar
99s+ 2bar or 3bar

yes..boost fpr

gm part...gm intake...replacement part PNP

you lost me the last line of your post

so on 98 you use 2 bar...99+ you can use 2 or 3 bar....3 bar have numbers 749, 861 on them

where can you get a direct replacement for a 99 3 bar?
