Default Anyone need a scattershield?

just letting you guys know i am now a dealer for Quicktime Bellhousings. I have had a relationship with them since last year (PRI convention), where they used my stock c5 bellhousing to design there c5 scattershield.
I will have the F-body scattershield in stock in a few days. the C5 manual/c6automatic bellhousings will be in a few weeks. C6 manual i will get on an as needed basis.

F-body/ls1-t56 part numbers#
RM8020-$422.50
C5 manual/c6 auto part number#
RM6035-$422.50
C6 manual part number#
RM6034-$422.50

i saw the c5 and f-body bellhousing complete this year as sema, very nice piece and all are SFI 6.1 approved. i will have some pics here in the next few days to post up. the f-body bellhousing might also fit the gto, but i am going to try it on my gto first to make sure.

Does the f-body housing require grinding down on the back of the block like it does with the Mcleod unit?

Are they going to do any LT1's. I am interested in keeping a few if they are.

When I ordered one from Quick Time last Wed. they said the motor plate used with the housing was .25" aluminum, can you confirm that? I don't want something that will contain a blast and send everything through the motor. They also told me it was in stock and it wasn't so between those 2 things I cancelled the order yesterday. But I may call them back IF the motor plate is steel. Thanks,

Larry

I could use one more, what does it weigh. When you have one weigh it and tell the LS1 world.

Thanks, Tom

lots of grinding and cutting, plus it has a huge opening in the side to let the smoke out
