Default 5.3L Truck Heads + TR224 = 7.400?

ok, I'm putting some 5.3L truck heads on my car (TEA S2) and going with a TR224 Cam. THe TR224 cam is .030" smaller base circle.

For those running this combo or something similar, were you able to use 7.400" push-rods or do you need to use a different size?

Thanks! (I want to order all my parts so once I start the install I have everything i'll need)

We just finished a TEA 5.3l stg 2/TR224 setup. The heads were milled .015" and we used the 7.400" pushrods.

I used 7.400" pushrods with my 5.3L heads and TR 224 112 cam, works fine. Heads are milled .010"

Cool <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

About 30 mins ago I placed my order with Thunder Racing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> and I got the 7.400" TR push rods <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
