QUESTION:

On my 98 LS1 I removed the NX NXel system and replaced the fuel rails with the billet Aeromotive rails.

Put everything back together and then, I kept losing fuel pressure. Pulled the pump and replaced it but now, you start the car and the pressure drops down to around 5 lbs.

The guys at the shop are telling me that the regulator is bad and we need a new one. Apparently you can only get the regulator as part of the pump and it's gonna be around 550 for a new one.

Anyone know of a fix around this on the 98 system??

Thanks,
Kev

I bought just the stock GM in-tank regulator a few years ago for my 98. I will look for the part number.

Isn't the regulator, on the 98, on the fuel rail? If so, did you not replace it with an aftermarket regulator.

It is for 97/98 Corvettes but the regulator is in the tank for the 98 F-Body.
