Default WTB: 'entry level' type welder

looking for a used welder to buy that when new would have cost under $500. thats about entry level.

hobalt makes great 120v starter units. I have a licond proMIG 135 I got at home depot for $450 I think. I like it welds up to 1/4 fine, Ive just ben told buy some better friends in the feild hobalt makes the best smaller DIY garage units

yeah, been scoping out the Northern Tool catalogs i get. Hobart has caught my eye. even the Northern Tool house brand has cought my eye, since its about $100 cheaper then the Hobarts of similar capability.
just seeing if there is anything used/for sale 1st.
