was runing 12.9s untuned, i have now got tuned and set new record in my car! hate 2 say it but i am a 100shot away from goin 2 the 11's thread!
WARNING: THESE RUNS WERE DONE IN 70 DEGREE WEATHER AND SUPER HUMID! THE CAR ALSO WAS JUST DRIVE THERE SO IT WAS A NORMAL OPERATING TEMP! WITH IT 30 DEGREES AND MY CAR COOL I MIGHT GET BETTER!

you need a stall and some tires. that would put you in running some high 11s or some 12.000s with that mph

thats what i thought, 1500rpm stall is not great for a cam!! thinking 3600stall and some et street/hoosier would be good for deep 12/high 11?

I am running 12.4's with out a cam so you should be in low bottom 12's easy with a stall

same times here with stock cam/ stock suspension

i'm trying to get some high 11s with stock internals

im at 11.97

i want to be 11.7

need to hook a little better and more tweak on tune.

stock cam bolt ons with a 3600 vig full weight ran a best of 12.62 with a 1.79 60'

No times with the TSP 231/237 yet but it picked up 68 rwhp cam only. A little weight reduction and it should be high 11's N/A easy.

my car lugs off the line like no 1's business!!! it only spins top of 1st gear and when it hits 2nd, no weight reduction,some stock falken tires, eibach sportline,and stock suspension, sportline kills traction

lol well damn, i was happy 2 get 12's cause the only car even close i have had was a 04 Mach1 5spd with blowmasters and off-road h-pipe runin 13.7's at 108!! hell got a guy i am working out a deal with on a 03 ZO6 with the same stuff done to it the should runs high 11's low 12's with me driven! except it has longtubes and bigger cam

get a yank pt4000 and some tires and u will get 11's

my car with boltons and a fuddle 3800 ran 7.55 in the 1/8th

i hope it will drop my times that much an it seems 2 put more power and weight 2 the wheel since i took lowering kit off today, it was a eibach sportline that lowered the car 4inch!!!!

i droped my tire preasure 2 20psi rather than 40psi i had, had no fuel so i got a gallon of 103octane unleaded at the race fuel place at the track for $10!!:(-expensive!@!left at idle so i flashed the converter and here is what it ran in 50degree weather!!

Yup stock rearend no problems what-so-ever. Stock gears and just a Yank SS3600.
Your 60ft seems to be holding you back. You might only need sticky tires to get into the 11s. I used Nittos with my runs and they gave me a 1.7 60ft.

i was thinking i wanted 2 run 11's on street tires, would new heads get me the power i need 2 do that? if o what is the cheapest set of heads i could buy that would the good enough that 1 year down the road i will not regret it and wana do some other heads?

Are you not reading what everyone is saying? Put a torque converter in the car!!!! Forget about a set of heads until you have a stall in the car. Have you ever been in a stalled auto car before?

well have all new exhaust on my car now! i came across some qtp dragracing longtubes 1 7/8 and 3in y pipe with dual cutouts and glasspack turndown! i think that it will help out maybe a 10th or more but since willnt be in ll's!!!! lol

no converter yet, i came accross the all new exhaust for $75 so could hold back!! still waiting 2 find a good deal on one though!!

i am also on street tires but know where some drag radials are for sale
