As the title ask, I was wondering who might be the best tuner in the midwest in your opinion. A friend of mine is wanting to know and I have no clue. Thanks for any help you can give.

Ed Wright in Tulsa,OK for LT1 cars. Id go to Jim @ Speed Inc for LS1 cars,IMO.

BEST as far as what? What does he need done? A full out turbo 7 second LSX car with BS3 engine management, or a bolton 13 second LT1?

Any standalone tuning(BS3, FAST, AEM, etc) go to Bob Kurgan. For stock computers, Speed Inc. does great work.

My personal opinion is Dan at FLP and I have experience with another large tuner in the area. His tune made my car drive A LOT better and made a few more ponies too.

My suggestion would be to have your friend contact a few of the local shops and talk to their sales people about tuning and see who he feels most comfortable with.
