Install University

Here you will find the mod. All you need is a barbed coupler that will connect the two ends of the hoses, and you need some hose clamps. You will also need some rubber or other, caps to put over the TB coolant ports.

I did mine yesterday and used a 90 degree coupler so the hose would avoid the pulley right under it. I had to get some more hose also. All avaliable at a local auto supply.

I used a 3/8 brass coupler from Home Depot, works fine, but it's a tight fit with the hose coming from the motor. I haven't put caps on the TB yet, as I couldn't find any.

You don't need caps, but if you plan on hooking it back up in the winter you might. You don't want crap getting in there and then back into the system when you hook em back up

The "bellow mod" you speak of from Home Depot is the Fernco 3" plumbing tube. You have to heat it up real good, trim it a little and it will fit there.

After a while it will be very sturdy and immovable. I have it and to access my air filter, I have to take everything out all the way to the bellow.

I tried the Ferco bellow and there was no way in hell it was going to fit. The bellow is about 4" long with only about 2.5" seperating the MAF and the TB at the top of them, including the area that the bellow slips on to each. Plus is was way to stiff and would of probably cracked my lid. Just my $0.02

I dno, mine fit fine after a little trimming and my SLP lid is still perfect.

The Fernco tube does have a rep for destroying lids though.

Another alternative is the Baker hose. I do not have their contact information, but they will know exactly what you want if you call and ask for the Camaro hose.

I think the best looking hose I've seen is
the one from the FIPK but it doesn't look
like they sell it separately. SLP had a nice
looking molded hose (successor to the hump
hose, which everybody figured out they could
get cheaper at diesel supply places) but last
time I checked they had it listed as not
available.

You want a laugh? There's some joker on eBay
selling what does appear to be a Fernco hose
and clamps, plus of course instructions (for
the truly mechanically gifted) and looking for,
like, $29.
