Default Am I the quickest stock tire C6 (non-Z06) in the country?

Just wondering, I saw one listed elsewhere with a slightly higher speed than I made in the 1/4 mile (125.06), but have yet to see one quicker on the E.T. (11.41 ) Does anyone know if there is a quicker/lower ET for a stock tire ( Goodyear run flats that came on the car) C6 corvette than 11.41?

Well you may want to mention you are running a non-Z06 in the title (edited), otherwise as far as I know a C6 is the bodystyle of Corvette (C4, C5 etc) and I didn't know a Z06 wouldn't be called a C6.

Either way, nice times.

Sorry, my bad. Most vette guys say either C6, C6 Z06, or Z06, I understand where it can be confusing. Yes, it's a C6, not a Z06. Thanks!!

im sure there are plenty of modded c6's that could throw on a stock tire and run faster than that. thats a really weird comparison to try to do since youre not stock anymore.

not saying if theycould do it, I'm saying have they done it? I could throw on some slicks and possibly be in the 10's, but I haven't , so it's just talk. Not alot of folks can pull a 1.8 60ft on cold runflat tires( I think the best I've seen is a high 1.7), and more HP makes it alot harder to hook, you know that if you drag race.

You are pretty fortunate to get those tires to work.

I would imagine nothing else is stock.

My mods are h/c,intake,headers,catback,cai,and tune, so there's alot left stock, like the converter, gears, suspension, diff, engine displacement,internals,etc...

Yeah...that's a really unusual goal/accomplishment. Most do tires right away simply for the safety aspect. Loss of traction at that power level/speed is bad news.

Hell, I almost put my Lightning into the wall 3-4 years ago during the 2-3 shift (with stock tires)...and it was only a mid 12's @ 108 truck. I parked it after that. Never again on stock 18's. LOL

Good luck with your endeavors.
