Default Can autotap's vehicle speed reading be incorrect?

I sure hope so, because the speed and rpms it shows tell me I have the wrong gear ratio in my rear end

So autotap's vehicle speed reading will compensate for gear and tire changes if you don't calibrate the car for that?

I guess that is what I'm asking.
