Throttle Body disassembly?
Since my car is gonna be down for awhile, I've decided to polish up the outside of my stock throttle body (since it's rather nasty looking from numerous catastrophies I've had over the years ).
Anyway, how the heck does the shaft come out? I figured it would slide right out once I took the blade off, but it doesn't seem to want to come out. It will be much easier for me to either paint it or polish it if it's completely disassembled. I can't see any kind of retaining clips or anything keeping it in...

Re: Throttle Body disassembly?
So it's just basically a press fit, then?
I was kind of hesitant to clamp it in the vice and try to force it out...
Thanks!

Re: Throttle Body disassembly?
Dont lose the lil retainer ring that goes on the shaft behind the TPS sensor or nothing will keep the shaft in place during re-assembly
