General LSX Automobile Discussion - Fbody Boneyard in Upstate New York found...

As our cars get older and parts harder to find, I've had really good luck getting stock exhaust manifolds, shift boots, differentials, LS1 brake spindles, etc from a local (to Albany, NY) Fbody ONLY boneyard. If you guys need some odds and ends (or maybe a complete car? They sell used ones too) then you can contact these guys. I've been over there about four times and the owners are young, top notch enthusiasts of the Fbodies.
Their name is Extreme Automotive and the shop in Rensselaer, NY (suburb of Albany, NY) The shop pic doesn't show the name because they just moved into this much larger facility.

I bought my Z28 from Extreme. Kevin and Adam are the owners and are super nice guys and extremely knowledgeable about fbodies. They are alot more then just a bone yard. They are a complete one stop shop for your fbody. I know that they specialize in 82-02 camaro/firebirds. I always have all my work performed at Extreme and have been very happy with the quality and price. I know that they are a dealer and always have a few fbodies for sale. They sell new and used parts, do engine swaps, programming, trans rebuilds etc, you name it they do it. Kevin is actually a profesor at the local college in the automotive department. Every time I get a chance to stop by they always have a few cool projects going on and what ever part I need. Just really nice guys and yes they just moved to the new larger place in the pictures. It has a 10 car gargage, engine/trans room and a parts show room, I think they are getting it ready for the spring.

Shit!,.. I give em some business! My baby is starting to fall apart so it would be nice to have a shop like that to order from. Allot of parts GM doesn't even sell anymore unless you purchase a whole assembly.

We have an F-body Recycler here in OKC.

Cleveland Pick-A-Part has parts from hundreds of F-bodies and Vettes, as well as the biggest GTO yard in the US. Check out that website or call becauses tons of cars arent on there! ----------------------- as well as the huge online ebay auctions and store, now thats a sweet boneyard. Its cool working there too haha.
