Default lt1 to ls1 battery hookup questions

Ok where do I need all the wires to go to? One goes from the battery to the distribution block for sure. Do I need a wire going from the battery to the starter? What size of wire do I hook the alternator up with? Thanks in advance guys!

yes, you need a battery wire going to both the starter and to the alt. 2 or 4 guage wire should be fine. if you have a sound system you might want to go bigger.

Ok so the 3 wires coming off my positive cable should go to dist block/starter/alternator. Thats it? And the ground should ground on the block and the frame correct? Thanks for your help!
