New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - window shot out, problems now

friday nite some kids went threw the naiborhood that i live in shooting out windows, they got my driver side window. now that it is fixed my window is giving me problems. it dosent want to roll up it gets almost there then stops, could the tabs on the inside be to tight or is my moter going out.some times it wont even start to roll up, do the switches ever give problems, i have a 2001 ws6,

did you put the motor on right..

by that i mean the motor isnt running out of gear or teeth when rolling up? i did that once and the motor was reaching all the way up position a few inches before the window was all the way up?

thats what my driver side does...and my motor is about to go out...and my passenger side gets about 4mm then quits lol so if u installe deverything right id say its prob ur motor

i didnt put the window in. the people that did first put the stops on backwards. i took it back they fixed that, but now the window doesnt go up. if its down then i can go up and down as much as i want,but when i try to go all the way up it gets almost there and stops. it will go all the way up but it takes a few trys. is it possible that its in a bind when it gets up that high. also the red led light that is above the handle doesnt work. is there a plug in inside there or would the bulb be out

Dang my window just got a crack in it

Sounds like the motor. If it was put together wrong, it may have stressed the motor. Of course they suck to begin with so it could be coincidence. They would have unplugged the LED to get the door panel off, they probably didn't plug it back in.
