Default Stepping Up to a 3 Inch Exhaust On my Fi setup

Well i have been thinking about stepping up to a 3 inch vs the 2.5 Thats on the car now,I am Running Catless With 02sims & A Paxton Novi 2k on my C5 ,I Also thought about Running Straight Pipes From the Header straight to the collector On the Muffler ,i Know it will be Louder LOL ,It will Prolly Wake the Dead With the Borla 2 tip stingers that are on there ,What Do u guys think ,I did this on my Stang With a Vortech & It was Nasty sounding, Dont know if it will really help in the Hp Department though,Any Input will be Appreciated ,Here is the setup i wanna run on the car

I went from dual 2.5" to dual 3" and the power on the top end doesn't drop off as fast, so I found it worth it.

dual 2.5" electric cutouts could also be an option.

keep the exhaust quiet...open her open when u want the power and would be freer flowing than the 3"


just an option for ya, since u seemed a little concerned about the exhaust decibals.
