Default the weirdest thing jus happened on the way home!!

hey everybody well today after making a left hand turn in first gear i got on the gas and shifted into 2nd (with tcs on) and the tires spinned a bit then i saw the low trac light i felt the gas pedal pushing my foot off the pedal and all of a sudden my car revved to redline by itself and let off i dont remember if the clutch was ingaged or not (im guessing not) and then after the clutch felt like **** it was hard lik a rock and stayed a bit to the floor!! but that happens!! im jus worried i hope the gas pedal doesent have a mind of its own lik this again it worries me now thanks guys

You might need to bleed and change your fluid. Man, if you don't change/flush your fluid, you really, really need to start! Look at the FAQ sticky in the manual transmission forum.

Sounds like the throttle cables are getting snagged in the ASR motor. Pop the cover off the module just behind the battery and look to see if the cables are in their correct grooves.

Haha those tornado things are still around?

I remember years and years ago when I started seeing ad's in the back of magazines that would make insane claims like "supercharge any car / gain x-ammount of hp" ect. If I rememebr right they were fairly expensive (for what they are) too, like $150 maybe? I dono, I just remember a buddy of mine buying one and me laughing my *** off when he showed me what they sent him.

+1 Your car will probably feel faster now that you got rid of that giant obstruction.
