Default Custom Borla Center Mount exhaust

I got a new exhaust setup that i wanted to share...i had Top Gun Muffler in Fort Walton Beach florida do it up for me. Great guys.
they ordered mandrel bends to weld everything up and it came out great.
I couldnt stand the normal borla exhaust tips, and i have been wanted a centermount for a while, so i figured why not just have one made from what i have.
It came out great and it sounds great in my opinion.
tell me what yall think.
-Chris

Alright...here it is with the bends painted in bbq grill black ;P
it looks alot better.

It'd look better if the pipes leading to to tips weren't so visible.

I like it, but I think I would like it better if the back bumper had an indent for the tips

as already said, it would look a lot better with some stainless z28 style tips and an indent for them in the valence. makes me miss my third gen

There is to much open space in the back. Would look much better if there was a rear valence like the CME on 4th gens.

Agreed....I think it would clear it up a bit more...
These pictures dont really do the car any justice. It looks alot better in person. Everyone locally that has seen it seems to love it.... But i have had a couple people say you should paint the pipes black . So I am leaning towards doing that.

I was thinking the same thing - I wish I could find a nice 91 or 92 L98 car

I'd say the same thing...paint the pipes black. BBQ paint gets my vote...I just got done repainting my ENTIRE exhaust, except for the lips on my CME tips.

Yuck, ..., Just doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's because you can see the pipes underneath.
It may be better if it had some sort of skirt around the tips like the true CME.
Starting to look like a Johnny-Lightnig 'Stinger' type car, ...

I'd better shut up now.

Momma always told me, ..., "If you can't say anything nice, stay out of the kitchen", ..., or something like that, ..., I wasn't listening too well at the time.

I think it looks great but I go along with painting the pipe aside from the tip black. Beautiful 3rd gen BTW.

I dont think it looks good because there is no valence for the tips....now if there was a valence then it would look killer

Cut the bumper so it has a slot for the exhaust to be to look in place

Also paint those pics flat black!

I like the idea, but if you do those two things it will look perfect!
