Finally got to the track during some nice weather.
1.58 60' :D
7.59 1/8
88 mph
12.02 1/4
110.79 mph
I had just installed the BMR Xtreme Sway bar and the motor pass felt strong on the launch. It was time to put it to the test and spray a 150 shot out of the hole. Launched, hooked, and BOOM....there went the 10 bolt. :bang: No worries, I had put that 10 bolt through a lot over the past couple years. A couple 1.49s and many many 1.52-1.54 60' times. I'm hoping to push her in to the 11s N/A and 10s on teh jug.

That sucks about your 10 bolt im hoping mine will hold up for alittle while so I can test out my 4l80e. I have pulled a best of 1.46 on mine and numerous 1.5x spraying it right outta the hole. I do have a spare 3.42 10 bolt that I got out of a v-6 car at the junkyard for 30 bucks that I would probably throw in.

Yeah, it's one of those things that you expect but hope don't happen. I guess my luck finally ran out.

I'll probably eventually stall and spray mine, hopefully the 2.73s will keep the rear together; I really don't wanna have to shell out the $$$ for a 12 bolt or 9 inch.
Nice runs!

If you add enough power and combine it with a tire/track that hooks, you'll eventually need to upgrade the rear. But give her hell till she breaks, that's what I did. :D

Yes sir. That's exactly what I'm doing. I'll more then likely put a 9" in her. The car will be sitting in the garage for the next few months until I can afford the rear end that I want. And then I'll start saving for a new tranny as I figrure that'll be the next thing to go.

nice times, what gear and stall are you running?
your 60' is insane for full weight. I only went 1.69 with my little 3k stall on motor
hoping for something closer to mid 1.6's with the yank 3600

I'm just going to save my money at this point and put a 9" rear in the car. No money wasted on another 10 bolt. Thanks for the offer though.

Thanks Mark. Gotta love a nice 60' :D

That's my boy. He's 70lbs and about to turn 1.5 years old on the 19th. I also have a 7lb yorkie who rules the boxer.
Sorry about the rear end, but nice times for SI at that weight. What are your mods?
Not much. lol Lid, QTP headers, TDs dumped, 4000 stall converter, a little bit of suspension work (lcas, relo brackets, sway bar), and a tune.
How about 9's on the jug :)
Not going to happen with stock internals, stock tranny, etc. But, in due time I hope to run in the 9s.

Yep, bolt ons only, and not all of them. could still due underdrive pulley, electric water pump, etc.

3.42s, ST Yank 4000.....they don't make the ST version anymore. It's an N/A converter, but I've sprayed the piss out of it. Oh, and I bought it used out of a 10 sec car that use to spray the piss out of it too. It's definitely a loose converter.
