Default slip on or weld on collectors?

which is best?
a slip on collector or a weld on one?
would it hurt to have the slip on collector welded to make it seal?

what are the pro's and con's of each?

The point of a slip on collector is so that you can swap collectors to try and find the best combo for your setup. A weld on collector is a slip on collector that has been welded on, there should be no (none, zero, nothing) difference in power between the two. I got slip on collectors for this reason, I don’t want to spend the money on a merge collector now, but I may in the future without having to buy new headers. Weld on collectors you will never have to think about, while I will have to check my slip on collectors every now and then, but its two very easy to access bolts on each collector, no big deal.
