Talking 11 second club? I'm in...9/10's for 22rwhp???

Yep...evidently so. (just kidding as that statement isn't entirely accurate)

Went to the track about a month and a half ago and with stock longblock, stock cam, stock intake, stock A4, but 3600 stall, Longtubes, ORY, Stock catback, self ported TB, lid and a tune, the car went 12.66@107. Car made 322rwhp on a Mustang dyno. (tuned before the converter swap)

About 3 weeks ago, I swapped in a "baby" 226 cam (.595" lift, 112lsa), and took it in for re-tune. The car made 344rwhp/314rwtq. Then last Saturday, I swapped on an LS6 intake, which really seemed to open up the midrange and top end. I also took off the POS, non-functioning Home Depot "catch can" and replaced with one of the sweet (and cheap) Norris Motorsports versions.

Took it to a private track rental today and first pass was 11.95@114 w/1.70 sixty foot. A few passes later, it ran it's best pass to date.

11.77@115 w/1.64 sixty foot.

Made 9 passes and car was great. No issues, no problems, no nothing...lol.

A half dozen of my buddys and my son, all told me that most every pass it was pulling the driver's side front wheel a few inches off the ground.

Can't wait to get the pics.

Thanks. I run a PI Vigilante 3600 stall...

A week after this post, and with some launch rpm experimenting, the car went 11.67@115 with a 1.58 sixty foot...still through stock catback...

Hey guys, I think I read somewhere that they were having problems with the updates for the times. There's a post somewhere around here.

Most people agree that the stock mass air meter is fine to well above the power levels I have, so I'd skip that, but the LS6 intake was definitely a worthwhile mod for me. I already had done a cam swap though, but the consensus here is the LS6 is still a good bang for the buck. I agree. I bought mine used locally for $300. FWIW, I never had to be re-tuned after intake swap, so I have $300 and a couple hours of my time invested in the swap. It's a simple job but usually ends up with a broken oil pressure sending unit due to being impatient old intake removal, lol. There's tons of info on how to do the swap, and what to be careful of, if you decide to do the swap yourself. Good Luck.

Well, It ain't broke............................................. ..................yet.

An automatic car is a LOT easier on the drivetrain than a stick shift car. Hopefully, it holds out since I don't go racing all the time.

I have a spare 10 bolt, complete...so I'm not too worried anyway.

Yes, I run 275/50/15 MT Drag Radials on a 10" wide ProStar

I was thinking about a rear end girdle to make mine last but I think if I ever have to replace mine I'd go with a 9" and be done with it. I probably race a lot more than you tho. Hows the tranny holding up? Deep oil pan?

Everything transmission-wise is STOCK...just tweaked with the HPtuners as far as shift points and whatnot.

9" is probably where I'll end up as well...just hate to spend that much cash on anything. Crap, I've bought decent cars for cheaper than what anyone sells a rear for one of these...

Absolutely nothing. It is 100% stock, original 113,000 mile GM everything...nothing but sticky tires, loose converter and a baby cam.

Didn't even take off the front swaybar. Nothing is removed to save weight either. Whatever they weigh stock with power everything, leather interior, and Monsoon stereo...subtract the wheel swap difference, and that's what mine weighs, plus it's 280# driver.
