Can F-body be converted to AWD?

Can F-body be converted to AWD?
I'm interested whether it is possible. Car is 98' Trans Am. Hopefully will be turbocharged by the next year.
So, is it possible to make it AWD?
Please don't bash me for being immoral, I just want to have best of all worlds - big engine, nice body, turbo and AWD

When you think about it, a regular cab short bed S10 is very light to begin and AWD has already been done with it, so taking a 4x4 S10 and using AWD astrovan parts to convert it to AWD just like GM did with the Syclone/Typhoon is the way to go.

OK, I got the idea - realistically can't be done... OK, will continue RWD next year, hope I can fit some huge tires to stick on our unprepped tracks...
No, thanx, S10 looks "a bit" worse than Trans AM to me If it wouldn't be F-body, I would just sell my liver and get Mitsu Evo or maybe new 2.5 STi

I'd have orignially said that it can't be done. Until I saw pictures of a C3 vette converted to AWD, running a BIG turbo on a stout V8 setup.
Here's a couple of links. BTW, these guys are over there in Europe too....

What it boils down to is how serious you are, how good your fabrication skills are, and how big your checkbook is will determine if this is a feasible swap / conversion for you.... But I'd say that since the f-body is a unibody car, that this would be a VERY big undertaking. At least with the vette there was a full frame to graft the front end to, and the body is non structural.

My grandfather used to race "jalopies" throughout the midwest in the '40s and '50s, he always said....."if you got enough angle iron and a stick welder, you can put any drivetrain into any car".
I think he is right.

You only need to sell a part of your liver. Trust me. I'm a doctor.
