you can pull the AIR (smog) system no prob. just get the appropriate plugs from pep boys for your stock exhaust manifolds.
when you remove the pump, you can either buy a delete pulley, or get a shorter belt. search thirdgen.org to find the part numbers.
or you can leave the pump, but if you do that, i'd recommend leaving the diverter valve attatched so stuff doesnt fall into the pump tube. i really just removed my AIR tubes to make room for doing plug changes (which will now take half the time). i'll eventually get the pulley when i see someone selling one used for cheap enough.
