Taking Off The Smog System On The 350 Tpi, Does It Throw Codes? How To Go About It? Im Straight Piping My Exhaust Into A Muffler, Wont Have Cats Never Dealt With The Smog System Please Help!!

you can pull the AIR (smog) system no prob. just get the appropriate plugs from pep boys for your stock exhaust manifolds.

when you remove the pump, you can either buy a delete pulley, or get a shorter belt. search thirdgen.org to find the part numbers.

or you can leave the pump, but if you do that, i'd recommend leaving the diverter valve attatched so stuff doesnt fall into the pump tube. i really just removed my AIR tubes to make room for doing plug changes (which will now take half the time). i'll eventually get the pulley when i see someone selling one used for cheap enough.

hey thanx man was a great help, came out to be a success now just removing the smog tubing down to the non existing cats is going to be a pain lol
