Default Stock block + 13psi + 7250rpm = (pics)

For those that didn't read my other post, I blew my block on a 10.10 pass. Here are the results.

Guess it's time to start thinking about what kind of block I should go with, I'm leaning towards the LSX block.

What are the goals for the car?

On a side note, why is it you see nitrous guys going so fast on stock bottom ends with no damage but when FI guys do it they always break?

Usually the nitrous cars are light racecars..when most of the FI cars are heavier.

You could build a strong aluminum block with good sleeves.
