HID Buz ??

Question HID Buz ??

Has any one got a Light buz or light whine come thru the speakers after installing a HID kit? I put one on my wifes car no problem. Put one on mine (TA) and I have a light buz now coming in thru the speakers.

Anyone have any Ideas?

I think your talking about "road noise". Thats all i know about it tho.

Yours are operating on a similar or close to the same frequency as your radio. May have to invest in some different ballasts. This is a common problem with different ballasts

Also try adding another good ground to your radio circuit. I've fixed a lot of backfeeding and freq. issues with a better ground. It's worth a shot!

...you might want to look into going to radio shack and asking them about those little noise canceller clip things, i forget the name off the top of my head, but they use them to cancel background electrical noise when running long stretches of wire close together..it comes through as a buzz or a hiss, similar to what your describing. they cost like 1.60-4.00 and they kill the bg noise completely
