"shaker" hood on 98+ camaro?

"shaker" hood on 98+ camaro? today i saw a camaro with to what seems like a shaker hood without the scoop. Maybe im getting the term wrong, but it had a hole in the hood rectangular, and some black "shaker" assembly beneath the hood. im guessing it was attached to the engine bay somehow? anyone else seen this? it looked pretty bad *** IMHO, and is definitely original in my book. post pics for everyone to see

didnt have a camera with me when i saw it.. so here's a vague description.. i would say if you opened the hood there would be a rectangular cut out in the center.. therefore im assuming the piece filling the hole would be on top of the intake or something. thats how it looked like

i know what a shaker hood is... but i have NEVER seen one on a 4th gen camaro. I have however seent he gm prototype 2003 whatever they called it t/a with the shaker hood. (white with blue stipe down the middle). Anyway im really curious to see this on a camaro cuz i cant imagine it looking good

yea just like that.. i know thats a shaker, but the camaro didnt have the scoop so thats where i was confused. it was more like a smoothed over cowl but with the cutout in the hood. lol damnit i shoulda had a camera... but honestly it didnt look too bad, kinda looked badass and unique

I have a friend with a 2dr '78 Malibu, a 350, and a Shaker from a 71 T/A....car is blue and shaker is black.....looks okay..It is really lowered and he put a 5-speed in it...rims are from a 80's Z28.....Low-buck but cool.

i think it would be bad *** to have a blower and just barely be able to see the big *** vents stickin up through a large ss hood so when you stomp it you see them open up inside the hood. that would be baller as hell. making that happen is an entire different story...i dont even know if its possible lol it would be one wierd blower...
