Default WTB: Camaro SS or Trans Am WS-6 hood struts

Hey all,
I am looking to buy a set of Camaro SS or Trans Am WS-6 hood struts. I put my aftermarket hood on and the stock Trans Am (non-WS-6) hood struts are too strong for the fiberglass hood.

Let me know what you got

Thanks
Andy

Nah. They are different. I did a bunch of searching on here. I don't have the numbers handy but they are in fact different.

If anything they are stronger. The 2001 OEM SS hood I installed with my new clip was actually heavier than the stock steel one.

The physical weight may be more but the valving inside makes it a "lighter" hood strut which allows a lighter weight hood to close easier with less strain on the hood itself.

Do you have the part number handy off the strut?
