I usually leave the J bracket on the car and take the head unit off the J bracket by removing the allen head bolts. But, yeah, it looks to be mounted correctly if that was your question? You may have to reclock it a bit depending on your intercooler piping... My outlet almost faces straight down, but the piping will dictate the ultimate direction.

How did get that standoff loose without taking the head unit off

You can replace the allen bolts but make sure they are the same length.

The bolt behind the blower must not have been very tight. Its a lot easier to take the blower off the bracket first as mentioned

If you replace the socket heads, you need to make sure you get new ones that are the same strength and have the same coating. Any type of socket cap of the same size will not do. Just FYI if the issue ever comes up again.

The stock ones are stainless I believe, wouldnt be a real good idea to use anything that can rust..
