So whats the main course besides turkey or ham?
I just picked up a ~7 lb leg of lamb. My weapon of choice is:
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup white wine
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1 Tbsp of dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil
It's marinading overnite and roasting late morning. I hope it turns out ok. It's my first time cooking this. :o

You didn't have to say "we're Mexican"..............we could tell by the plastic covered dining room table. JK, my mouth is watering looking at those. I'll take three dozen....

My brother married into some family of half Thailand half Chinese family for some reason. Neat thing about it is on Thanksgiving I get a traditional Turkey, Stuffing Etc dinner then go over and half these 'exotic' to me dishes that I have no idea what names they are. But the food is good......provided you can eat a table full of spicy stuff. Things like fried rice *****, some pork marinated in some sweet stuff wrapped in banana leaves! and so on. One year they had half a pig on the table head and everything....needless to say I kept away from both ends of the extremities. This year I heard something about "blood cakes" *shruggs* I think that's done with chicken blood and cut into cubes and thrown into some rice soup...I'm going to make it late this year to make sure they eat all of that stuff first.
