Default buying turbo parts???

so i have decided to turbo it finally(02 z28 full bolt ons and was dd)
and im starting on gathering my parts
i plan on running truck mans, on a ls6 block with forged rods and pistons with stock cubes,6.0 ported and polished heads lookin at 9-1 compression ,still researcing for a cam, and eventlly a turbo 400 on trans brake, and a 7000 red line, and 10 - 20 #s of boost depending on type of gas
the car is going to be a street killer(weeken drives probly 30 miles) since i dont plan on doing a cage,
im looking for 800 to 900 rwhp
so my questions are
how well would the tc76 turbo do or should i go with something bigger??
does the vicjr intake clear stock hood(i would assume not) or 4 inch cowl
what gear do you th400 guys run in the rear
has anybody found a manfold for the pass side that keeps the a/c ??
thanks

Default

Well I do 6.0L manifold setups. I used the TC76MPS turbo on my previous shop car. It had very mild 370 with ported 6.0L heads, LS6 intake, TU1 cam, TH400, SC3000 stall, 9 inch w/ 3.25 gears and some MT DR's. Last time around the new owner made over 750rwhp/rwtq on 15lbs. It has gone 9.80's @ 140+.

I am working on getting some C6 manifolds to see about keeping the A/C. I am hoping the new BMR k-member will allow me to keep the A/C and route the DP over the K-member.

Feel free to PM me any questions. I would be happy to help you out along the way with your build.
